The PLC programmed cycle is based on timings required in particular tank, as specified, and can also be sequenced. Plus, pre treatments heighten the performance value of a coating, increasing its life and helping to prevent corrosion. In the pretreatment process, metal surfaces are cleaned and prepared for coating application. Oils and other contaminants are removed from the part.

The most commonly used Pre treatment ways  are:

• Spray Pretreatment: The conveyor carries the article inside the tunnel. The tunnel is provided with different zones as per required chemical process. The spray density & pressure is controlled with the help of pumps & valves. Tanks with filters are provided below the zones for better circulation system.
• Dip Pretreatment: The basket/jig along with the article is lifted & dipped in various tanks as per required chemical process. The lifting & dipping of basket can be done with the help of hoist (manually) or Transporter system (Manually / Semi automatic / Automatic.)
